Ted H. WarlickTed H. Warlick
Board Chair

As a member of the Richmond African American Scholarship Fund (RAASF) since its inception in 2002, Ted Warlick has been instrumental in the dramatic expansion of the organization's profile and reach in the Richmond community. In addition to the year-to-year strategic planning activities for the fund, Ted continues to develop relationships with individuals, professional organizations and corporations throughout the Richmond community to expand participation in Fund activities. Through their involvement, the Fund hopes to achieve its long-term goal of building a self-funding endowment for scholarships and scholarship activities. Ted also takes an active role mentoring scholarship recipients by providing academic and professional advice throughout their college years. Forrest W. Barnes III Forrest W. Barnes, III
Vice Chair

Forrest W. Barnes, III, has served on the RAASF Board since 2004. As Vice-Chair, Forrest is an Ex-officio Board Member with oversight of all RAASF committees and serves as the liaison communicating the voice of the membership to the Board of Directors. Forrest has more than 15 years of Information Technology experience with extensive qualifications in program and project management. More...

 


Lewanda GallimoreLewanda Gallimore
Finance Director

Lewanda Gallimore has served as Board member and Financial Director of the Richmond African American Scholarship Fund (RAASF) since June 2003.  Lewanda oversees RAASF financial affairs and is responsible for the reporting, management, and disbursement of funds.  In addition, Lewanda collaborates with fellow Board members to identify and execute on opportunities to expand community reach and sponsorship support, has co-chaired the Annual Scholarship Awards Recognition Committee since 2005, and maintains informal mentoring relationships with scholarship recipients. Administrative Director

Leisel Kingston has been an active member of the RAASF since 2004. As Administrative Director, Leisel provides overall RAASF administrative and event support. She maintains annual records of all committee reports and preserves all pertinent organizational documents, correspondence, files and history as part of the organization’s archives. More... 


Michelle G. TinklerMichelle G. Tinkler
Marketing and Communications Director

Michelle Tinkler has served on the RAASF Board since 2006. As Marketing & Communications Director, Michelle is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of RAASF's marketing strategies designed to build and promote the RAASF brand. In this capacity, she is responsible for ensuring that all RAASF marketing collateral, signage, print and interactive materials meet RAASF brand standards. In addition, Michelle oversees the creative design, content development and integration of the RAASF website and directs all internal and external communications and public relations activities. Kenneth E. Cooke Kenneth E. Cooke
Regional Director, Strategic Professional Partnerships

Kenneth E. Cooke has served on the RAASF Board since 2005. As Regional Director of Strategic Professional Partnerships, Kenneth is responsible for engaging professional organizations to partner with RAASF to provide overall support of RAASF fundraising activities and by garnering their commitment to provide educational opportunities for RAASF scholars through mentorship and professional opportunities such as internships and full time employment. Kenneth has been instrumental in leveraging the collaborative expertise of several professional organizations whose goals align with RAASF’s goal to help further the education of African American youth.
