Brianna Stith is a 2008 advanced studies graduate of Richmond Community High School. She is a scholar, an athlete, and a student leader who is both trusted and respected by the student body and the faculty.
Brianna consistently demonstrates a strong desire to develop herself by maintaining a rigorous and challenging course schedule and participating in school-based and community service activities. Her academic schedule included honors courses in mathematics, science, English, Spanish, and social sciences and was further augmented with additional AP classes and courses at local colleges. Brianna is also a member of the leadership cadre for the RObotics team. Her academic excellence has been recognized with membership in the National Honor Society and the National SPanish Honor Society, and with accolades including but not limited to National Merit Scholar and the Laverne Morton Williams High Achiever Award.
As someone who has professional aspirations in the field of medicine, it is no surprise that Brianna has excelled in fitness, having received awards as a high school track and field state championship qualifier and the most outstanding runner at a district track meet. She loves track so much that she not only runs, but also serves as the Team Captain for both the Outdoor and Indoor Girl's Track teams. When not burning up the track, Brianna volunteers at a local hospital every Saturday and serves as an active member in the Mime Ministry and Youth Ushers groups of her church.
Brianna will be attending the University of Virginia in the Fall and plans to follow a pre-medicine discipline. Her long-term aspiration is to become a doctor specializing in family practice with a focus on children. In fact, Brianna states, "I would love to make as many children well as I can." |
