Blair Smith

Blair Ebony Smith - No Picture AvailableBlair Ebony Smith is a 2007 advanced studies graduate of Huguenot High School. She was ranked in the top 10 in her class throughout her high school career, even while she was a dual enrollment student at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College.

Blair maintained an excellent GPA, while being very active in clubs at school and volunteering in the community. She was the Editor of the Huguenot High School Literacy Magazine, Secretary of the Student Council Association, and a player on the varsity girls' basketball team, where she served as Co-Captain in her junior year. Blair has also volunteered her time to organizations including the Children's Museum of Richmond, Women's Shelter, and the Sacred Heart Center.

Her teachers describe her as a person who possesses those often mentioned yet rarely quantified intangibles that lead to success. In reading Blair's personal statement, we saw a llevel of maturity, strenght of character, and determination that surpass her years.

Blair will be attending The College of William and Mary in the Fall, where she will study Public Policy and Black Studies.
