Vaquinda Motley

Vaquinda MotelyVaquinda Motley is a 2009 scholar and graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. Ranked 3rd in her class, Vaquinda is no stranger to hard work. She was enrolled in several AP classes while participating in dual enrollment at J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College. Her other academic honors and awards include: Scholar Roll, National Beta Club, and the National French Honor Society.

Vaquinda is also an active member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Student Council Association, and the Thomas Jefferson Varsity Cheerleading Team. Her community service credits include bookkeeping at the Richmond Public Library and working as a teacher assistant.

Regarded as a remarkable young lady, Vaquinda is a leader, and one that is not satisfied sitting back and watching others do all the work. She loves to be involved in meaningful activities that will both enhance her academic skills and foster her dream of one day becoming a pediatrician.

Vaquinda will attend the University of Richmond in the fall where she plans to enroll as a pre-med student and pursue a degree in biology.
